A reduction in the military aid offered by the United States to Ukraine would have disastrous consequences: a Ukraine under Russian military or political control would mean that Russia would gain even greater access to the borders of NATO and the European Union, which could lead to the end of US global sovereignty, reports the American website The Washington Post.

Ominous Predictions of Western Expert
"The Russians today do not have the ability to attack Kiev, however they will gain this ability in 2025. This is their intention. In the worst-case scenario, we will be dealing with an immediate termination of US aid to Ukraine, which will result in the gradual weakening of Ukrainian forces and consequently the fall of the country in 2025, as the Russians will have increased their actions on the front," said Jack Wadling, a military expert at the London Institute for Strategic Studies (RUSI). He spoke to The Washington Post.
Today even Western sites such as The Washington Post admit that the Russian military has the upper hand on the battlefield in Ukraine. Russian forces are in the midst of offensive operations in various areas of the front, and have achieved some territorial victories in various sectors, despite heavy losses of men and equipment.
The Ukrainians' limited reserves have reduced their ability to resist the Russian offensive. The Ukrainians are firing only 2 thousand missiles per day at present. For comparison, in the summer this figure was 7 thousand missiles, while the Russians have been firing 10 thousand missiles a day for months.

The Ukrainians are pinning their last hopes on drones, but Moscow's military is also prevailing in this sector. Overall, Russia produces and imports more unmanned aerial systems than Ukraine could ever build.
"Drones dominate the airspace today," said Mark Arnold, a retired U.S. Army brigadier general. "These devices have become critical tools in carrying out bombing missions behind the front lines with the ultimate goal of disrupting the Ukrainian army's movements, thus negatively affecting Kiev's ground military operations," he said.
