According to current information from the Russian Izvestia service, the reconnaissance team of the 9th Russian Brigade has discovered and destroyed a stronghold of the Ukrainian armed forces in the direction of Avdiivka. Material from the operation was published by the Russian site.
It was reported that with the help of heavy artillery fire, the equipment and personnel of the Ukrainian forces were neutralized.

In other news now, reported a short while ago by the Russian RIA Novosti, the Russian armed forces are said to have repelled several Ukrainian attacks in the direction of Urozhaynoe in the Donetsk People's Republic.
More specifically, the Russian military repelled several Ukrainian attacks in the direction of Urozhaynoe in Donetsk. This was stated by Oleg Chekov, head of the press center of the Vostok troop group.
"The advancing units of the Vostok troop group, supported by artillery, repelled several attacks by the enemy, who were advancing under the support of armoured vehicles in the direction of Urozainoe," he said.
In addition, Russian artillery fire destroyed an ammunition depot north of Vladimirovka and a point of a temporary Ukrainian troop deployment in the Ugledar region. Russian artillery also neutralised a Ukrainian mortar crew north of Nikolsky.
"The air force hit points of temporary deployment, points of concentration of manpower and equipment of the armed forces of Ukraine in the regions of Staramayorskoe, Harvest and Priyutny. Using portable Verba anti-aircraft missiles a Ukrainian Furiya-type UAV was destroyed," Cekov added.
