But as its owner, Mr. Soukos, said in a morning show recently, there are orders for 150 MINOTAUR systems worth several million each.
He implied that the Greek government is not helping him as much as he would like, and there is also a question mark over his admitted cooperation with the Greek armed forces, about which we have not heard anything from the Ministry of National Defence for months, if it is true of course.
The attempt to evaluate the system and integrate it into European funds
The owner of the company is constantly praising the MINOTAUR Laser system, which if it is valid and finally has the approval of the Ministry of National Defence, we should in this case include it in PESCO, to be funded by EU funds.
This organisation is the defence arm of Europe , and can provide the company with both the funds required and the technological assistance to perfect, a 'killer' weapon for unmanned vehicles, with the appropriate project inspections.
At some stage a Minotaur could be sent, if approved by the EU agency, even to Kiev to test a Minotaur, and if it proved to be a good weapon system in combat conditions, then it could be mass produced with funding from the European support package for Ukraine.

Greece 'graveyard' of cutting-edge systems operations over time
The history of Greek manufacturing of weapon systems from guided bombs, to cruise missiles ( MACEDON), shows us that many for many reasons, do not want our country to develop in this field, and this is the truth throughout time.
As for efforts being left unfinished due to lack of funds, it is true and true, as we have no culture of developing critical weapons systems, even in the private sector, and the only advanced defense hardware company was sold months ago to an Israeli company.
There is always an invisible hand behind it, and when a Greek company, we stress this, or any initiative in critical sectors, goes to the surface, then there is a background at work and unknown forces seek to do damage.
Greece is not a country in which companies of this level are developed for many different reasons, but we hope that it will happen one day so that we can become self-sufficient as a nation in critical cutting-edge technology for many missions of both the Armed Forces and the civilian sector.
We hope, because that is all we can do, to see Greek companies and local minds start and create a sector that every Greek government should have developed first, since the Mavrokordatos-Kolletis administration, but they did not.
