Greek-Turkish Relations

Erdogan wants to close the Attila of 1974 by demanding half of the Aegean - Only US-EU and Germany want a deal

Realism, this and only this, we must have as Hellenism and political system, and in no case should we sit at the negotiating table with the Neo-Ottoman Turks.

The Erdogan regime does not want to conduct outright military operations with Greece, especially now that the Greek arsenal threatens as far as Ankara and the Tigris and Euphrates dams, with Rafales combined with SCALP missiles.

Turkey has implemented a merciless hybrid war systematically since 2020, with the sole aim of bringing the political leadership of our country to the negotiating table without fail.

There it is absolutely certain that Ankara will put on the agenda even issues related to the treaties of Paris (1947) regarding the concession of the Dodecanese Islands to Greece, Lausanne, in which the "neighbors" have a "Turkish version", and of course the Muslim minority in Western Thrace, which they want to control with a dream of declaring autonomy at some point in the future.

The current fascist type Turkish government of the AKP is constantly besieging us, seeking to cause fear in the Greek political and military leadership, in some way continuing the plans of the period 1974-1996.

Our well-known Turkish retired Admiral Cem Gurdeniz says:

"Today is the double celebration of the Blue Motherland. With the Montreux Convention 87 years ago, we took back and sealed the absolute sovereignty of our Straits after 13 years. At the same time, we became the guardian of the maritime security regime that will apply only in the Black Sea. Thanks to Montreux, we maintain our active neutrality in the Russian-Ukrainian war today, as we did yesterday.

49 years ago today, we ended the siege from the south with the peace operation in Cyprus and paved the way for the establishment of the TRNC. Both Montreux and the Peacekeeping Operation in Cyprus are the most important cornerstones of Turkish maritime geopolitics.

Salutations to those who made us live these two glorious July 20s, especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. I hope those who govern us are aware of the power of these two unique legacies.

May these beautiful days and anniversaries be our light of hope in the difficult and dark days we are going through. The Turkish nation, who once established it and did it, will establish it and do it again. Only one percent fought in Sakarya and we won. Happy 20th of July".

As then, the Heads of the armed forces (Arapakis, Bonanos, Galatsanos, Papanikolaou), did not dare to hit the Turkish landing force (when it was necessary), because the well-known H. Kissinger had requested it, so today, the Greek government must not yield to the whims of the well-known American Foreign Minister Mr. Blinken, and must not sit at any negotiating table, in order to discuss how we will deliver Greek sovereign interests in the Aegean by air and sea.

The tragedy of Cyprus in 1974 and the defeat of Greece essentially in Imia in 1996, will have a continuation as it seems, which reaches the unbearable pressure on Athens, for discussions on the surrender of essentially half of the Aegean, as well as the questioning of the sovereignty of Greek micro-islands in the Eastern Aegean, by the Turks, without considering that all this will be accepted of course by the current or any Greek government.

What should we do with the Turks in the political and military field?

The Turkish political leadership has always sought to move its sovereignty towards the Aegean and the Balkans, and this is now more obvious than anything else.

In this plan, for their own interests, the Turks are silenced by the current American political leadership (especially after Vilnius), just like under Trump, for those who glorify the former American president, and someone or someone must be found to stop them because there is no other way, since we will have continuity in the next 10--20 years.

The question here is what to do as Greece, since we are under unbearable pressure from the USA, EU, NATO, Germany, to give up Greek sovereign rights?

The only solution to such a difficult and intractable problem would be the following: Refusal to negotiate with Turkish terms on a permanent basis, and continuous equipping of the Greek Armed Forces from every source, combined with the rapid development of the national defense industry, which was so sabotaged by known and unknown people from 1975 onwards.

We are not going to achieve anything by talking to Turkey, or even worse by reaching an agreement on the Aegean similar to that of Prespa.

We remind you that the SYRIZA government was trumpeting that it supposedly saved the name of our Macedonia with this treacherous agreement, but after its signing, the descendants of the Komitadzis, Skopians, turned it into a rag, and legitimized their redemptive aspirations, since a bunch of organizations, associations, chambers are called "Macedonian", while they also legitimized "Macedon" ical language", which is essentially Bulgarian.

So if we seek a similar agreement with Turkey in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean, all we will achieve would be to whet the appetite of the Turks for more later and nothing else.
