New Altman shots at Musk: He fights OpenAI out of insecurity, I truly pity him

OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman "counterattacked" billionaire Trump ally Elon Musk just a few hours ago.

Let us remind you that yesterday, the American tycoon proposed buying Altman's OpenAI, primarily known for its AI service ChatGPT, for nearly $100 billion.

Shortly after, Altman rejected the offer, posting a counterproposal online: "You won’t buy OpenAI, we’ll buy Twitter for $10 billion."

Today, Altman decided to continue the tense atmosphere between the two businessmen, "launching" new sharp remarks.

"Elon has been trying to do a lot of things at the same time for a long time. What happened this week [the OpenAI acquisition offer] is a prime example," Altman said in an interview with Bloomberg TV, adding, "I think he’s just trying to delay us."

We should recall that Musk was a co-founder of OpenAI, but he left the company and has since harbored deep "hatred" for Altman, as revealed by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Asked if he believes Musk is fighting OpenAI due to insecurity, Altman said, "He’s probably felt insecure his whole life, I feel sorry for the guy. I don’t think he’s a happy person, I feel sorry for him."
