Turkey-Israel intelligence war! MIT created a special unit against Mossad - The US-NATO stance

It is a fact that the war in the Gaza Strip between the State of Israel and the Hamas terrorist organisation has highlighted Turkey's role as a sponsor and staunch supporter of Haniyeh's organisation.

The Turkish President even went so far as to call the terrorist Hamas a "liberation organization" and Netanyahu and the State of Israel "terrorists".

The Turkish intelligence agency MIT created a special unit against the Israeli Mossad

Yet all of this, despite its seriousness, would in no way refer to the following terrible revelation in the International Media according to which, "Turkish intelligence agency created special anti-Mossad unit to suppress Israeli operations", noting the following:

"Turkey's National Intelligence Organization (Milli İstihbarat Teşkilatı, MIT), which has been led by pro-Iranian figures under the direction of an Islamist government for the past decade, has reportedly established a specialized anti-Mossad unit within the agency, which includes veteran officers.

The allegation was made by Abdurrahman Şimşek, identified as a public relations agent and MIT propagandist.

The 'dark role' of a Turkish journalist

Simşek operates under the guise of a journalist at Sabah, a media outlet considered a mouthpiece of the regime and owned by the family of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He is one of the numerous MIT executives strategically placed in the Turkish media to influence public opinion.

Its role includes spreading false narratives, promoting the spy agency and strengthening the positions of government officials.

He openly mentions his connections to the intelligence community and often boasts about them. He was aware of leaks detailing alleged actions undertaken by MIT against Israeli interests in Turkey and third countries.

MIT's "muff" successful operation against an alleged Mossad network in Turkey

For example, in October 2020, Sabah published a news story reporting that 15 Arabs had been arrested on charges of allegedly working for Mossad to spy on Palestinian students in Turkish universities.

The operation, which reportedly involved some 200 Turkish intelligence officers, was hailed as a major success by MIT.

However, Israeli officials have denied the allegations, claiming that none of the individuals arrested were Mossad spies.

In May 2023, Sabah published another news story claiming that 15 suspects, allegedly working for Mossad, were arrested on charges of spying on Iranian targets for Israel.

MIT operation to rescue Palestinian hacker from Mossad kidnapping

Then, in November 2023, another report claimed that MIT played a role in rescuing a Palestinian hacker from captivity in Mossad in Malaysia, where he was visiting a friend.

The hacker, reportedly under MIT protection for several years in Turkey, is said to have developed hacking software capable of infiltrating Israel's Iron Dome air defence system.

The MIT propagandist issued a warning that any action by Mossad against Hamas leaders in Istanbul could lead to a global reaction.

He said targeting these individuals could increase the risk to the lives of Israeli civilians and Jews around the world, stressing that Hamas is now internationally recognized as an armed resistance group.

The targeting of Hamas leaders by Mossad and Erdogan's warnings

Simsek's revelation that MIT had a specialized unit targeting Mossad followed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's warnings to Israel about reported Mossad assassination plots against Hamas members in Turkey.

In an unusual move, Turkish intelligence also countered the allegations through the state-run Anadolu news agency, stating categorically that it would never allow any plot orchestrated by Israeli intelligence agencies.

Why is the establishment of an MIT Special Unit targeting Mossad not a surprise?

The revelation that the Turkish intelligence services established a special unit composed of veteran agents to target Mossad activities is not surprising, given that both the current head of the Turkish intelligence service, İbrahim Kalın, and his predecessor, Hakan Fidan, are pro-Iranian Islamists.

The role of the current MIT Chief Kalının

Kalin had worked for the Iranian-funded radical Islamist magazine Yeryüzü, which was closed down due to its links to terrorism in the past.

The magazine promoted an Iranian-style religious revolution in Turkey and was a focal point for the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the Turkish capital.

The magazine featured violently anti-Semitic and anti-Western content in every issue, advocated violent and armed jihad and often depicted prominent Iranian 'mullah' figures as respected figures.

Khalin described Khomeini as a 'leader of the uprising', 'leader of the Islamic revolution', 'Imam of revolutionary Muslims' and 'an example of faithful Muslims.

The role of former MIT Chief and current Foreign Minister Fidan

Fidan, the former intelligence chief who is now foreign minister, has cultivated ties with Iranian intelligence since his time as an army non-commissioned officer.

According to confidential documents obtained during an anti-terrorism investigation into Turkey's Quds Force between 2011 and 2014, police discovered a collection of biographies including that of Fidan.

The biography noted that Fidan was a confidant who shared the revolutionary vision of the mullahs and harbored anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiment.

"Fidan wants to wipe the United States and Israel off the face of the earth and loves the Iranian revolution," the profile note on Fidan said."

Turkey-Israel intelligence war

From the above we understand that the establishment of a Special Unit by the Turkish MIT against the Israeli Mossad points to an open war between the two countries' intelligence services, something unprecedented for the two countries, which in the past had developed particularly close cooperative relations.

It seems that the Islamist erosion of the MIT has reached its peak, a fact that the US-NATO should take very seriously with regard to Turkish access to classified documents of high value, as well as the cooperation between the intelligence services of the Alliance countries and the Turkish, which is in osmosis with the Iranian.
