"Units from the Northern Force group repelled the attempt by Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch a counterattack in the direction of the settlements of Cherkaska Konopelka and Ulanok in the Kursk region," said the Kremlin via Telegram, emphasizing that "all attacks were repelled."
The Russian Ministry claimed that the Ukrainian attack consisted of eight different waves. It was reported that the operation involved "up to two mechanized battalions with infantry fighting vehicles and armored combat vehicles, supported by tanks and engineering vehicles."
