Israel is relentlessly striking Hezbollah's naval base in Beirut! Iran is rallying the Arab states

For the past 48 hours, Israel's bombardment of Beirut and primarily the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital has been relentless.

Just a few minutes ago, Israeli fighter jets struck and destroyed an apartment building in Sidon. The videos circulating on social media clearly show the intensity of the strikes, which appear to be targeting more than just Hezbollah's underground facilities.

Hezbollah launched a missile attack on central Israel today, causing residents to take shelter in bunkers, though no apparent damage or injuries were reported, Israeli authorities said.

The terrorist group fired five projectiles from within Lebanon toward Israel, the Israeli military stated, adding that most were intercepted by Israel's missile defense system, while one landed in an open area. Israeli police said there were no reports of damage or injuries following the barrage of missiles.

Meanwhile, Israel targeted a Hezbollah naval base in Beirut overnight, the Israeli military stated on Tuesday, as Iran worked to rally the Gulf Arab nations in anticipation of potential retaliation from the Jewish state.

The Hezbollah naval base housed a training center, a facility for conducting experiments, and military speedboats intended for use in attacks on Israeli naval vessels and targets within Israel's territorial waters, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported.

Israel also carried out strikes on Hezbollah weapons storage facilities, command centers, and additional terrorist targets in Beirut, some of which were located underground, the Israeli military stated.

Israel has taken measures to mitigate the risk of civilian harm, including issuing precise and advanced warnings to civilians in the area before the start of the airstrikes, according to the IDF.

The strikes are occurring amid rising speculation about how Israel will retaliate for the ballistic missile attack from Tehran on Israel on October 1st.
