Russian Armed Forces Captured Ukrainka

The settlement of Ukrainka in Donetsk has come under the control of Russian Armed Forces. "The Russian military has liberated the city of Ukrainka in Donetsk," stated law enforcement agencies in RIA Novosti.

"This morning, the village of Ukrainka came under the control of the Russian military," said a security official.

Russian fighters have reportedly hoisted a flag on the ventilation shaft of a mine on the outskirts of Ukrainka, as shown in photos provided to the agency.

Ukrainsk, a town between Kurakhove and Selidove with a population of approximately 10,500, is located four kilometers from the Tsukrova railway hub, which supplies a significant portion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas.

The capture of Ukrainka is expected to disrupt Ukrainian logistics, according to senior Russian officers. In early September, Nikolai Melnyk, an officer of the 47th Independent Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, indicated that Russian troops had prioritized advancing towards Ukrainka and Horniak, followed by Kurakhove, which has now been achieved.

Ukrainian losses include up to 600 soldiers, a battle tank, three armored combat vehicles, six trucks, a Bogdana 155mm self-propelled artillery unit, two FH-70 155mm howitzers from the UK, M777 and M198 155mm howitzers from the USA, a D-20 152mm gun, a D-30 122mm howitzer, two M119 105mm guns from the USA, an Anclav-N electronic warfare station, and an AN/TPQ-50 anti-missile radar station.

Russian forces from the "Center" group continued their advance deep into enemy defenses, targeting units from the 59th, 148th Motorized, 95th Air Assault Brigade of the AFU, the 118th and 119th Territorial Defense Brigades, and the Lyut Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian National Police in the areas of Nelepovka, Dimitrov, Kurakhove, Tsukurino, Mikhailovka, Grodovka, and Novoekonomicheskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic.

The Russian advance persists, and Ukrainian forces are attempting to reduce the front line and halt the Russian progress, but with limited success.
