An alert for Russian attacks in southeastern Ukraine sounded this morning. Kiev and the rest of the country are facing a massive Russian attack and air strikes have been going on for more than two hours already.
A Russian missile hit an 18-hour-old building that caught fire in the Ukrainian capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Six people have been injured, two have been taken to hospital, he added.
Electricity has been cut off in parts of Kyiv on Wednesday after damage was caused to high voltage lines.
“Following an enemy attack, two high-voltage power lines in the capital were damaged by missile debris. Some residents on the left bank are currently without electricity," Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
