Kiev is in despair and is trying to stabilize a front that has stretched dangerously thin.
Kiev mayor V.Klitschko told the German newspaper Bild about the "crazy shortage" of ammunition and the lack of soldiers: "For several months now, there has been a crazy, huge shortage of ammunition. Ammunition is the number one issue when you talk to soldiers on the front line. I would like to take this opportunity to send a message to Germany: we are protecting a country, but we are also protecting the whole European Union. Russia must never be underestimated.
