A Difficult Future for NATO Predicts The Telegraph
More specifically, and according to a new article in the Russian state defence newspaper Zvezda, if the West and the European members of NATO do not immediately start rearming their armies and rebuilding the Western defence industry, then Russian leader Vladimir Putin will end the Western military bloc once and for all, at least in its current form. This was first reported by the Western newspaper and website The Telegraph.
"If they don't do this then Putin will get the keys to Europe and end the Western alliance in the form we know it today," the Western medium wrote.
The recent article in The Telegraph also refers to the current situation in Ukraine. Journalists from the newspaper believe that Kiev's support from Western countries may soon come to an end. Russia, on the other hand, is not only not reducing its military operations and capabilities, but is modernising its military-industrial complex to meet the current and future needs of its army.
Thus, the newspaper stresses that Kiev is currently in a very difficult position, as the Ukrainian troops are facing shortages of personnel, ammunition, systems, etc., while the Russian army, on the other hand, is having far fewer difficulties.

However, the Zvezda of the Russian Ministry of Defence reminds us that recently Russian President Vladimir Putin had stated that Moscow does not wish to clash militarily with Europe, nor with any NATO country. The Moscow leader spoke of the negative effects of NATO expansion near the Russian border, noting in particular Finland's membership of the military bloc, but reassured the world that he would not start a war with NATO or Europe, despite the fact that the US is trying to bring European countries into conflict with Moscow.
