Altun, in his social media post, included part of Erdogan's statements to reporters on his return from his visit to Qatar on December 6, when he was reminded of the US Wall Street Journal's report that "Israel has assassination plans against Hamas members living outside Palestine, including Turkey".
Fakhretin Altun posted the following statements by the President,

If they dare to take such a step in Turkey, they will be condemned to pay the price in a way that they will not be able to recover from. Those who attempt such a thing should not forget that the consequences of it could be extremely serious. There is no one in the world who is unaware of the progress that Turkey has made in both intelligence and security. We are also not a state that was founded yesterday. No one should forget that."
