Tumult in Turkey over the deaths of PKK commando soldiers - The Minister of Defence Güler immediately "ran" to the front line of operations

Turkey is experiencing a general upheaval, mixed with heavy mourning and anger at the same time, for the bloodshed caused by the PKK in the Turkish Armed Forces, killing twelve (12) of its soldiers, with the Kurds, however, raising the number of victims to thirty-six (36).

As shown in the following X , published by the PKK several soldiers of the Brigade of Commando were killed and wounded during the attack of its insurgents in Northern Iraq on 22 December.

The members of the raiding unit were seemingly armed with M16A4 assault rifles, a PKM machine gun and an RPG-7 launcher with a PG-7V rocket launcher.

"Aron-aron" the Turkish MP rushes to Hakari - Heads will roll

Following this very bad development for the Turkish Armed Forces, the Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and the Turkish Armed Forces Command , went immediately to Hakari , where they attended the funeral ceremony of the Marines killed during operation "Claw-Lock", on Hakkari Mountain and asked for explanations and updates from the local commanders .

The PKK strike was followed by air strikes by the Turks, who said that at least 26 terrorists were eliminated in them in northern Iraq and Syria on 23 December 2023.

Turkish citizens call for a protest against the death of PKK soldiers and the war in Gaza

"Unprecedented call for action for Turkey's martyrs and Gaza; Thousands will gather at the Galata Bridge," the pro-government Yenisafak reported, noting:

"The National Will Platform and 308 NGOs are preparing for a historic protest in memory of 12 soldiers martyred in Operation Claw Lock, also expressing solidarity with Gaza.

Thousands are expected to gather at the Galata Bridge at 8:30 am on the morning of 1 January 2024, chanting the slogan "Mercy for our Martyrs, Support Palestine, Curse Israel".

The recent killing of 12 heroic soldiers by the PKK terrorist organization and the massacre of 20,000 civilians in Gaza by Israeli bombing after the October 7 and the United States' rejection of the UN Security Council resolution on a humanitarian ceasefire has spurred civil society organizations to action.

Organizer of the protest with an anti-American and anti-Israeli flavor is Erdogan's son Bilal

In a press conference held at TÜGVA headquarters, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan (Erdogan's Son), the President of the Knowledge Dissemination Foundation (İlim Yayma Vakfı), along with 22 NGO leaders, announced the upcoming historic protest scheduled for January 1.

Ibrahim Besinci, President of Türkiye Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), shared a joint statement on behalf of the NGOs, stressing that the names of the perpetrators may change, but their goals remain the same.

He stressed the need for a collective response against terrorists targeting the nation and its flag, stating:

"We know that we are at a historic turning point. In these critical days, inspired by our martyrs, we will raise our voices and carry this nation's message to the world. Our condolences to the families of our martyrs, may our nation endure."

Making an appeal on the basis of "being human", the NGO leaders called for the participation of all citizens in a historic demonstration at the Galata Bridge.

They highlighted the extreme brutality and genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza, urging the world community to react against the inhumane policies of the oppressors.

The protest march , starting from Sultanahmet Square at 8:30 a.m. on January 1, 2024, will proceed over the Galata Bridge, which will be closed to traffic during the demonstration for the first time in the history of the Republic."

Deadlock on military repression on the Kurdish issue

The above demonstrates once again that despite the undeniable military superiority of the Turks over the PKK terrorist organization, its fighters continue to bleed the Turkish army, despite the continuous - successive operations of the TDF, especially since 2016.

The Kurdish issue has been consuming Turkey for the last 40 years, which has been mourning thousands of dead and wounded.

The 'neighbours' should realise that the PKK fighters have the support of the Kurdish population , who overwhelmingly support and abet them, similar to what the Hamas terror fighters do with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
