Russian revenge for the Su-34 with an advance on the Donetsk front towards Bohdanivka-Ukrainian Leopard-2A5s have burned

The Ukrainian military command of the Kirovohrad Region reported that the region was subjected to a large-scale Russian missile attack on 23 December. The air defence responded to the attack, and no other information is available.

Russian social media reports that Russian troops have taken control of the forest plantations west of Bohdanivka, advancing 1.5 km per day steadily along almost the entire front.

At the same time, a video was released showing a Ukrainian Leopard-2A5 tank on fire after a Russian FPV drone attack in the area of the village of Ternu (direction of Kupiansk) by men of the 20th Russian Army of the Western Group of Forces.

"Our troops have already occupied the northern part of the village and the rest of Bogadonvka has become a 'grey zone'. The Ukrainians are retreating towards Kalinovka and Grigorovka.

The enemy also acknowledges the Russian army's advance on a fairly wide front to the west of Bakhmut and the loss of Ukrainian control over the forests north of Bogdanovka," a Russian expert said.

Acceptance by the press in the USA of the Russian advance

Russia has taken the initiative on most of the battlefield in Ukraine, writes the New York Times. According to the paper, Russia has managed to capture new territory in recent weeks.

Verkhovna Rada deputy Yegor Chernev, the deputy chairman of the National Security, Defence and Intelligence Committee, told the newspaper that the situation on the front is difficult and is gradually getting worse. "Without American ammunition, we are beginning to lose territory that we hardly won this summer," he added.

The main conclusions of the American Institute for the Study of War:

Video made using geolocation systems and released on 22 December shows that Russian troops have recently made gains south of Spornovoe (northeast of Bahmut).

Russian Armed Forces are advancing to the southeast and northwest of Avdiqa. On 22 December, Russian and Ukrainian troops continued positional fighting near the border of Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.
Russian airborne forces of Ivanovo's division destroyed Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry in fighting near Bakhmut.

Russian airborne troops advance with the support of drones. UAV units eliminate Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in positions using quadcopters drones and then attack with assault teams.

It seems that soon the United States will not really be in the mood for war with Russia in Ukraine.

The Red Sea is in danger of becoming a conflict zone and there are leaks from the Pentagon about a pre-emptive strike in Yemen being prepared as part of the announced Operation Prosperity Guardian.

A coalition hastily assembled by the Americans from 20 countries has already sent 4 destroyers, a cruiser, a US Navy aircraft carrier, a French frigate and a British Navy destroyer to the region (in total there are more than 500 cruise missiles and 100 attack helicopters).

If we relate all these interesting events to Vladimir Putin's Middle East tour of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and, immediately afterwards, a meeting in the Kremlin with Iranian President Raisi, then we draw useful conclusions.

Interesting coincidence, isn't it? The stakes have to do with world domination.
Never in modern history has the world been so close to a world war.
Already the contours of future coalitions and the harbingers of World War III military alliances are emerging.
