Today, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu visited an advanced command post of the Russian Troop Group Centre, which operates as part of the Russian military operation on the territory of Ukraine. The announcement was made by the Kremlin itself.
During his visit, the Defense Minister was briefed on the current situation on the front line and received a report from the command on the progress of combat missions. According to him, the actions of the Russian military personnel in the direction of Krasnoyarsk can be considered successful. In particular, as a result of active Russian offensive operations in this sector of the front, Russian soldiers managed to occupy more advantageous positions.

Sergei Soygou expressed his gratitude to the management and staff of the Russian team for their professionalism and courage during the war. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a high tempo in offensive actions, while continuing to carry out decisive and confident actions by the Russian army on the battlefield.
It should be noted that despite the fact that Ukraine's armed forces are trying to carry out counter-attacks in various sectors of the front, currently the Russian army is reported to be successfully carrying out raids against positions of Ukrainian troops, forcing them to retreat.
Reducing the intensity of the Ukrainian counter-offensive?
In today's publication of the Russian Izvestia, a decrease in the intensity of Ukrainian actions in the directions of Kupiansk, Krasnoyarsk and partially Donetsk is reported. This was announced today by the Lieutenant-Colonel of the Lugansk People's Republic, Andrei Marochko.
"During yesterday, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the enemy reduced strikes against settlements on the front line and against positions of the Russian armed forces," the retired military officer said.
According to him, the counter-attack efforts of the Ukrainian forces have generally decreased.
A day earlier, Marochko had reported that the Ukrainian army was mining the exit routes of its fighters in the direction of Krasnoyarsk in Donbass. As he explained, the mines are being laid not only with anti-tank mines, but also with anti-personnel mines, leaving no safe corridor.
