The Ukrainians "sweep" with "Storm Shadow": This time they hit Melitopol - "Preliminary demonstration" before the upcoming large-scale attack

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched Storm Shadow cruise missiles in Melitopol.

A powerful explosion occurred a few hours ago in Melitopol. It became known that the reason for this was a missile attack from Ukraine and, as in the case of Primorsk, British-made Storm Shadow tactical cruise missiles were used for the attack.

The details of the strike are currently being clarified and there is currently no evidence that Ukrainian missiles hit their targets.

Ukrainian Defence Minister Reznikov, in an interview with the Financial Times, said that the main military reserves have not yet been put into combat and the main counter-attack has not yet come. He promised that, all will see the beginning of serious events.

According to the head of Ukraine's defence department, the unsuccessful attacks by Ukraine's Armed Forces in the directions of Zaporizhzhya and southern Donetsk are only a "preliminary demonstration" before the upcoming large-scale offensive.

Reznikov stressed that, most of the brigades training in the western training fields have not yet engaged in combat. The main part of the Western armored vehicles is also reserved for the next stage of the offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It should be recalled that, according to the UK Ministry of Defence, to date, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have managed to take control of about 300 square kilometres of territory. Kiev claims that it has been able to take back twice as much.

The Russians counter that, the Ukrainian troops have not been able to advance beyond the grey zone in the Zaporizhzhya region. At the same time, thousands of soldiers and hundreds of armored vehicles were lost during the counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yesterday it was reported that Russian marines destroyed 50 units of enemy equipment in three hours, right near the Novokuznetskaya settlement.

In Bahmut, there is an increase in hostilities by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which are actively attacking, trying to penetrate the sides of the city. The possible purpose of these actions is to surround Artemovsk and further blockade it.

Fighting is taking place all over the front, but is more intense in several key areas. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are carrying out attacks along the Seversky Donets-Donbas Canal, where the Ukrainian army has managed to advance, fighting fierce battles in local landings. The purpose of these attacks is to extend the bridgehead to the east of the canal, which will strengthen the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area.

Northwest of Kleshivka, a new attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place, during which the Ukrainian army attacked a stronghold and was able to advance into two forest zones. Information on this matter is confirmed by the 'Russian Spring Military Correspondents' and the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

There are also attempts to break down the defences of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Under the cover of multiple missile launchers and tanks, Ukrainian troops tried to advance with the help of tactical groups, but were repelled by landing forces.

Fierce fighting is also taking place near Berkovka, where armoured groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their attempts to break through the Russian army.

It seems that, tension on the front line remains high as the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to build up significant forces and increase pressure on defensive positions, which may be due to the current situation with Wagner.
