Only One Chariot in the Russian Parade
In other news now, this year for the first time in the history of the Russian Victory Day (May 9) military parade, only one tank was featured in the celebrations in Moscow.
This unique tank was a legendary T-34, marking one of the brightest and most interesting moments of the 78th anniversary of the Russian victory in World War II. At least that's what the well-known US defense outlet The Drive reported, with the Russian news service Avia-pro reporting the news.
Usually, various types of military equipment are presented in the parade, showcasing the power and capabilities of the Russian military. However, this year, the parade organizers decided to honor the dead with the iconic T-34 tank, which played a key role in the war.
The T-34 proved to be one of the most powerful and effective tanks of its time, thanks to which the Soviet Union was able to repel Nazi Germany. The military parade, which included only one tank, was a tribute to all veterans. It is an opportunity for millions of people to honor those who fought for the freedom and peace of the Soviet Union, but also of the whole world. As a result, May 9 has special significance for all Russians, and especially for the Kremlin.
