A powerful strike by the Russian UR-77 Meteorite array against a group of Ukrainian ground targets caused a massive explosion, comparable to explosions that cause nuclear strikes.
More specifically, a UR-77 Meteorite array was used by the Russian military to strike ground targets. As a result of the weapon's combat use, the explosion was so large that its shock wave covered a distance of more than 500 meters in diameter. The Russian news service Avia-pro emphasized that this explosion is comparable to the result of using nuclear weapons.
The UR-77 Meteorite array is designed to engage fortified targets and mechanical obstacles using high explosive charges. In this particular case, the array demonstrated its maximum capabilities against Ukrainian targets on the ground. Of course, we should mention that one hundred percent of the weapon's power is rarely used, so this case is particularly interesting.
According to the Russian page, experts focus on the fact that a huge dome-shaped shock wave was created, which covered a long distance. For obvious reasons, the intensity of the explosion at the epicenter of the impact is described as colossal.
The Russian military actively uses UR-77 Meteorite arrays, also called Serpent Gorynych, to suppress Ukrainian fortifications.
