This was announced by an analyst of the military company "Wagner" in a comment published by military commander Alexander Simonov.
On March 22, Advisor to the Deputy Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Yan Gagin, announced that Russian forces had effectively surrounded Bakhmut and the city was under operational encirclement.
The analyst clarified that the Armed Forces of Ukraine gathered a group of up to 80 thousand soldiers in the "Wagner" zone of responsibility.
In this context, the Ukrainian army is taking steps to create attack groups.
The analyst added that for flanking attacks towards the cities of Seversk and Popasnaya, the Ukrainian group is concentrated in the area of Zvanovka, Razdolovka and Vesele settlements.
"For the liberation of Bakhmut from the north, a Ukrainian group of troops is gathering in the Ray-Aleksandrovka, Malinovka, Slavyansk regions" - said the analyst.
We remind you that Wagner fighters continue the attack in the western regions of Bakhmut, hitting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their positions.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Wagner's assault detachments took control of three-quarters of the city's territory.
The Russian army began to regroup in the direction of Zaporizhia
In preparation for a possible counterattack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces are regrouping their forces in the direction of Zaporizhia.
Russian war correspondent Semyon Pegov notes that there is a calm in this region, which may precede the "storm".
To suppress the possible activity of the Ukrainian forces, the artillery units of the Armed Forces of Russia carry out pre-emptive strikes on settlements such as Gulyaipole, Orekhov, Olgovskoye, Malaya Tokmachka and others, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine have concentrated significant forces.
Semyon Pegov also reported on the aggressive actions of Russian troops in Maryinka.
Progress is being made only in the Severnoye settlement area.
A high concentration of Russian artillery units took place in the area, after which Russian forces launched an attack on Krutaya Balka, without much success.
The enemy forces are stubbornly resisting and maintaining control of their positions.
Experts emphasize that the Russian armed forces continue to actively operate on the front and are preparing for any possible action by the Ukrainian troops.
US intelligence agencies are monitoring the situation in Bakhmut, assuming that the city will be captured by Russian forces, this will be a "psychological blow" to Kiev.
