The known supporter of drug trafficking gangs (according to Albanian media) and Freddy Beleri's jailer, Eddy Rama, publishes the video of the Turkish "Bayraktar" UAVs, showing that they will soon be part of the Albanian Armed Forces.
"Bayraktar drones will soon join the Armed Forces". This is what Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote as he published images of the Turkish drones, which he says are "higher-flying technology used for military, police and civilian missions".
Rama further underlines that "the completion of the fleet of these drones by Albania is of particular importance in terms of Albanian security and that of the Alliance, as compliance with the obligations arising from the National Security Strategy, the Military Strategy and the objectives of NATO capabilities."
Albanian PM's post came after Greek move to close EU entry
Rama probably wants to make a peculiar show of force to his Greek counterpart K. Mitsotakis, who gave a good hint that not 1 and 2, but 37 chapters have already been blocked which concern accession procedures for Albania's entry into the EU, have already been closed before they are even discussed if F. Beleri is not sworn in as mayor of Himara.
No matter how many Turkish drones the Albanian Armed Forces buy, they will not threaten our country, which is preparing very soon Greek UCAVs and a fleet that will cause terror in the Balkans and the Aegean, according to announcements by the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence.
What is Ankara's plan in cooperation with Albania
"Turkey has friends in the Balkans such as Albania and Skopje," Turkish Vice Admiral İbrahim Karataş had previously stated, stressing that Turkey is deployed enough to play its own geopolitical games in the Balkans.
"Turkey is now at a level where it can create geopolitical conditions and has the means to set up a game very well for this purpose", he had said, summarising the Turkish plans.
Albania, and in particular the creation of "Greater Albania", will be the main basis of all Turkish plans in the Balkans.
Creating a "Ukraine" type situation in the Balkans is not difficult at all, as the recent events on the Kosovo-Serbia border have shown.
One "spark" and the powder keg of the Balkans can catch fire, causing chaos in the region, which the Turkish state will certainly exploit to achieve its own plans.
The term "Turkish arc in the Balkans" is neither new nor unknown and reveals the effort of strategic encirclement of Greece by Turkey.
The issue from a military and strategic point of view is extremely important for Greece, which should under no circumstances, if it conducts military operations in the Aegean, have to face threats both in the Ionian Sea and in the North.
The Turks, in their own paternalistic sense, want all the Mediterranean countries to consult them, to meet their demands, and generally to do as they please, as they did during the Sultan's time.
This is a very dangerous reasoning that shows that Turkey is relatively far from the historical Ottoman Empire, which only produced as a civilisation genocides against other ethnic groups, along with wars.
