Those who caused the incidents at the Tuzla military school in Turkey are being discharged from the army, according to a statement from the Turkish Ministry of Defense. Let us recall that lieutenants who declared themselves "kemalists" systematically abused, harassed and targeted religious students who were praying in the School's mosque.
The announcement specifically states:
"In the context of the administrative investigation launched into the incident that occurred at the Command of the Infantry School on the 85th anniversary of the death of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, founder of our Republic and our Eternal Commander-in-Chief, by the Supreme Disciplinary Council of the Land Forces, regarding the personnel involved in the incident and referred to the Supreme Disciplinary Council; in accordance with the mandatory provisions of the Disciplinary Law of the Turkish Armed Forces and the Regulation on the Supreme Disciplinary Councils of the Turkish Armed Forces and other relevant legislation, the decision "Separation from the Armed Forces".
Other procedures will be conducted according to the documents and information obtained from the judicial process related to the incident.
To our Turkish Armed Forces, whose priority is to maintain solid discipline. There should not be the slightest doubt that any person, event or situation that would shake basic values, violate discipline and disrupt military hierarchy will not be tolerated.
It is announced to the public with respect."
Let us recall that as the Pentateuch had reported when the incidents in the Turkish military school had become known, Erdogan used the coup as a pretext in order to staff the Turkish Armed Forces with Islamic Officers of his absolute trust, showing off in the annual military crises of August since then Kemalists Officers.
This created an internal discord and rivalry between Islamist and Kemalist junior officers in the army, resulting in unprecedented incidents at the Turkish Infantry School in Tuzla with Kemalist Second Lieutenants threatening to hang their Islamist colleagues and the Gendarmerie intervening.
The Erdogan newspaper YeniSafak, in a related article, reported those days:
"Ümit Özdağ is involved in the case of 'enthusiastic' Lieutenants at the Tuzla Infantry School. Lieutenants, who describe their religious colleagues as "sectarian and reactionary", say in their correspondence that "Ümit Özdağ will solve the problem".
Özdağ, who was the first to support them by appealing the night before saying, "The patriots have been kicked out," even though the administrative decision had not yet been made.
It was found that the junta fanatics, who cursed the politicians, sects and communities under the mask of Kemalism, recorded the officers praying and raided and beat their chambers, tried to contact Ümit Özdağ.
