The personnel can be fully trained for such occasions, but can the equipment keep up? One of the most important weapons of a nation's army is the main battle tanks. These weapons many times need to be deployed in snow. But, can they work?
The short answer is yes, such vehicles can operate in snow, but with some compromises. The most important one is the reduced agility and in general, their stability.
Of course, the amount of this reduction is significantly depending on the weather conditions and the specifications of each tank. But, in general, battle tanks like the M1 Abrams can operate without any issues in snowing environments!
