Signatures were signed with Embraer for the support of the Air Force's flying radars

Embraer will provide integrated logistic support services through the recently signed Follow On Support Agreement for the Greek Air Force fleet with one ERJ-135LR and four ERJ-145 AEW&C aircraft. The contract covers spare parts, repair, maintenance and technical services for the five Embraer aircraft currently operated by the Hellenic Air Force.

"The Hellenic Air Force is pleased to sign this contract with Embraer. We have been operating the aircraft since January 2000 and we rely on the excellent support from Embraer when needed. With the Follow On Support Agreement, the Greek Air Force will further increase the readiness and availability of its fleet," said the Chief of Air Force Support Command, General Konstantinos Kleniatis.

"Embraer is honored to be selected by the Greek Air Force for this contract, which demonstrates their confidence in our platform and our support. Our solution is very competitive and the Greek Air Force's decision for this model reinforces a global trend, with customers looking for an integrated logistics solution," said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO, Embraer Services & Support.

The contract includes a special spare parts pooling program for Embraer's military customers, in which the cost of inventory is shared among the customers who purchase the service. This is a cost-effective way to ensure availability for the ERJ-135/145, Legacy 600/650 and AEW&C operated by defense forces and governments. The program has been in operation for more than 15 years and provides an efficient and effective service that reflects Embraer's commitment to excellence, over the years the program has enabled the availability of high value resources, support and data exchange services.
