What the stone? Russians revealed a spy robot disguised as a rock!

The Zvezda channel of the Russian Defense Ministry of the country revealed they have developed a spy robot disguised as a rock. This robot was designed to operate on the battlefield to cover snipers.

The video showed the robot (that has a similar size to a pet) to navigate through the grass with its caterpillar wheels and a small camera on its 'roof'.

In the channel, it was stated: “Due to its camouflage and its ability to move, it can be really useful in trench warfare”.

The robot features a movement sensor that is enabled with the least nearby movement. According to Zvezda, the spy gadget has a passive battery lifetime of 24 hours. It has the ability to collect, process, and transfer data for 15 hours. A human operator must be at a distance of 2km to operate the tiny robot.

Zvezda also claims that it took three years for students and professors in the Zhukovsky-Gagarin Air Academy to develop the spy robot.

Of course, the memes were numerous in social media about the user but also funny little gadgets.
