QBU-191 is the new Chinese marksman rifle that is a version of the QBU-191 assault rifle with high precision. Lately, QBU-191 was adopted by the Chinese army, and it will eventually replace the QBU-88 at some point.

QBU-191 is based on the main design of the QBU-191. Many components are changeable, a fact that helps in reducing costs, making logistics, serving, and maintenance easier, and making the gun more efficient. However, we don't know if the gun can change between configurations. The ergonomics are also improved a lot in comparison with the QBU-88.

The rifle comes with a 30-rounds magazine of polymer that is a copy of the Magpul design. There is a special indicator for the available ammunition left.
The gun features telescopes stock that can change its length. There are four available positions, a real improvement over the QBU-88 that has only one.
A Picatinny-type rail is located at the top of the gun for different sights and night vision. The target range is about 800 meters, although the effective range isn't much longer than 600 meters. So, QBU-191 isn't especially a sniper, but it can extend the range of the squad. There are also iron sights available.
