As reported by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Greece immediately responded to the request from the Indian authorities.
Through the European Civil Protection Mechanism, Greece is “ready to send 90 oxygen cylinders with a total capacity of 440 liters, as well as medical supplies (masks, gloves and other means of self-protection).”
In especially short supply are oxygen cylinders.
In fact, the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias speaks of a self-evident response by Greece “to the call of each country for assistance”.
