A new Russian media publication with the title "Beijing is unhappy with Turkish intentions to give NATO access to Russia's S-400 air defense systems" is of interest.

The Asian "Giant" is messing with Turkey!

So, as everything shows, the possibility of Turkey sharing data of Russia's long-range S-400 anti-aircraft systems with NATO member countries is a matter of particular concern to China.

As China National Radio (CNR) notes, Turkey's recent actions, including the release of the commanders of the Ukrainian Azov unit (which is considered a terrorist and neo-Nazi organization in Russia) and the approval of Sweden's entry into the North Atlantic alliance, seem that they are part of a strategy aimed at getting Turkey to abandon its neutral stance towards the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Essentially, what the Chinese analysts appreciate is that Ankara is slowly trying to side with the West in the war in Ukraine, with appropriate steps, supporting Kiev more and more while strengthening NATO. It goes without saying that this serves some Turkish interests, such as the very likely supply of F-16 Vipers to the country.

Chinese experts analyzed different views and scenarios, but all agreed that Turkey, trying to get closer to the West, may have to look for new ways to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and normalize its relations with its Western allies. her.

Simply put, the Chinese speculate that Ankara will try, among other things, to reduce tension with Greece, in an attempt to become a reliable member of the NATO alliance, since until now many Western analysts have named it as "the worst ally of the West".

The Question of the S-400

One of the steps Turkey may take to reach out to the West is to provide access to Russian S-400 air defense systems, which it received from Moscow as a result of which the US canceled the supply of F-35 fighters to Ankara (fearing a leak sensitive information of their aircraft).

But now the Chinese fear the opposite, since it was emphasized on the radio network that the data of the S-400 is important in a strategic sense, with its leakage greatly worrying both Beijing and Moscow.

For this reason, Chinese analysts speculate that such an eventuality would force the Asian superpower to completely abandon Russian air defense systems, which until today constitute the backbone of the Chinese long-range anti-aircraft defense network.
